May 2016 Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Ron Gray on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 7:12PM at the Black and Orange, 7462 Main St., Webster. There were 31 members in attendance.

Minutes of the last meeting on April, 23, 2016, were read by Secretary Joan Williamson. Motion was made by Paul Horner, seconded by Dorothy Wallace to approve the minutes as read..

Financial Report was presented by Cheryl Gray, Treasurer. The bank balance as of May 20, 2016, is $19,443.82. An itemized list of income and expenses is attached to this document. Motion to approve the financial report as read was made by Denise Peyton, seconded by Bill Roettger.

Trails and Equipment:

Trail 8 between Bear Lake Road and Lake 26 Road has been graveled by the Forestry Department. Trail 8 between Airfield Road and Lakes Road by CCC Road has been graveled at the club’s expense. Trail 45 to Hap’s Landing will be graveled the week of May 23. The steep hill on Chase Fireland will be rerouted. The culvert on Trail 925 that was causing problems has been removed and filled with rocks.

LaFollette and Wood River Townships want to open up road routes.


Maps are ready for distribution.


Volunteers are needed from 4:00-6:00 for the Fishbowl Poker Run on Sunday, May 29th.

The club is not planning a Poker Run this year.

Free Wheeling weekend will be Saturday, June 4. More club information can be found on and the Indianhead Advertiser ad. We will meet at 10:00 at the club pole building, 2616 Tundra Trail, Webb Lake. There will be guided tours on local trails. Four Star Sports will offer ATV/UTV demo rides. Lunch will be held at Oak Ridge, 31453 Webb Lake Drive, Webb Lake.

Nominations for officers will take place at the June meeting with elections at the August meeting.

Next meeting will be held at The Tenth Hole, Yellow Lake Golf Course, 7768 County Road U, Danbury, on Friday, June 24th at 6:00PM. Refreshments will be served.
